I have been looking around for wedding ideas lately. I have set my date and although I have not yet decided on the venue, I have been looking at magazines and websites to see what I want for my big day. I need to get an idea of how much wedding supplies will cost, so I know where I need to reduce the budget. I know how many guests are coming and so that will help me with planning. I want to think about the cost of every detail, even favor boxes and then prioritise them, only then including the things I really want. I know that the venue and dress will be the dearest things and so once I know how much everything else costs I will know what my budget is for them. This might seem like the wrong way to go about it, but I think that it is the small details that make the day special and so for me they are very important indeed. There are a few other places I am prepared to cut the budget but I am sure that it is likely that my dress will be the thing that takes the cut. It will be okay as I have seen some really nice, cheaper dresses as well as some dear ones that I like so I am sure I will find something good in the budget that I decide to set.
